Open Enlightenment respects your privacy. This policy explains what information may be processed when you visit open-enlightenment.com, join the book waitlist, use Community Chat, or interact with links to our social pages.
Information we receive
The site may receive technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as browser type, device information, approximate location, pages requested, and security or performance signals. If you join the waitlist, we receive the email address you submit so we can send a notification about the book. Community Chat may process the account and content information required to operate that community.
Analytics and consent
Cloudflare Web Analytics may measure basic website performance and traffic without using cookies. Optional Google Analytics and Meta analytics are disabled until you choose Allow analytics. If you allow them, they may receive limited technical usage information such as page views, referrals, and button clicks. We do not intentionally send your email address, name, waitlist form contents, community messages, or inferred spiritual beliefs to Google or Meta.
Waitlist
The waitlist is operated through AcyMailing. Its purpose is to send a quiet notification when Open Enlightenment is ready. The waitlist is not a public directory, and we do not sell or rent submitted email addresses. You may unsubscribe through the link in a waitlist email.
Community Chat
Community Chat is voluntary. Information you choose to post there may be visible to other members. Do not post information you want to keep private. Joomla, Kunena, hosting, and authentication systems may process the account information necessary to provide the community.
Third-party links
The site links to Instagram, Facebook, Books.by, and other services. Those services have their own privacy policies and may collect information when you visit them. Open Enlightenment does not control their practices.
Your choices
- Choose whether to allow optional analytics when the consent notice appears.
- Clear this site’s stored browser data to reset your analytics choice.
- Unsubscribe from waitlist email at any time.
- Contact the site owner about a privacy question or request concerning information you submitted directly.
Request deletion of your data
To request deletion of information associated with Open Enlightenment, email [email protected] with the email address or username associated with your request and the words Data deletion request in the subject line. We will use the information you provide only to locate and process the request. You may also unsubscribe from the waitlist using the link in any waitlist email. Some limited records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or transaction records.

We may update this policy when the website, services, or analytics practices change. The updated date above shows when the policy was most recently revised.
